Wheeled vehicles have enormous advantages for fighting in Ukraine against Russia as they are *FAR* more mobile and roads in both Ukraine and Russia are of the very highly improved type. As far as actual wheeled armor this is a complicated issue one the USA has struggled with given the War on Terror and not what USA Humvees were designed to fight. Still the new "JLTV" very much in full run rate production now and in two locations actually (Wisconsin now Indiana as well.) Since these vehicles are firing rockets, radars, radios and not kinetic rounds anymore these are far deadlier than anything else out there currently plus comes with trailers and a supply chain. Not sure there is a need for a turret at the moment as Russia is effectively out of Tanks inside Ukraine at the moment June, 2024 on or about.
